EU citizens are not required to obtain a visa for stays of up to 14 days in Oman. However, if you plan to stay longer, there are two options available to you. Firstly, you can apply for a tourist visa online in advance, for that please use only the official website of the Royal Oman Police: www.evisa.rop.gov.com
Alternatively, you also have the possibility to obtain a visa on arrival.

You do not need an international driving license to rent a car from us. We accept driving licenses from EU countries, as well as from many other countries worldwide. If you are unsure about whether your driving license will be accepted, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our team, and we will be more than happy to clarify and provide you with the necessary information.
DESERT DRIVING
Driving in the desert in Oman can indeed be easier than many people think. The tracks in the desert generally follow a similar direction and are already established, making navigation more straightforward. It is generally safe to drive alone in the desert, and it can be a thrilling and enjoyable experience. In the rare event that you get stuck, a simple digging with a shovel often solves the issue. However, it is important to be aware of certain scams that occur in the desert.
Some Bedouins may try to deceive and take advantage of tourists by spreading false information about the dangers of driving alone in the desert. It is advisable not to believe them as their intentions are solely aimed at making money. While these scams have unfortunately become somewhat prevalent over the years, it is essential to stay cautious and rely on reliable sources of information for accurate advice when venturing into the desert. CHANGING MONEY
Don’t change much at the airport because the rate is very bad. You can change money in one of the many currency exchanges in the city or inside the mall.
